Prerequisite: 2 days of NVC + 5 days of NVC focusing on systemic approaches.

Aims of this course

Reviewing my project in the light of interiority and equity

Incorporate and put into practice the basics of NVC with a focus on systems in concrete projects

Understanding the viewpoints of the collective

Break free from limiting collective beliefs and create new narratives

Developing individual and collective power

Anchor ourselves in a culture of trust, seek the common good and levers for change

Content

1/ Check the foundations of my social and environmental action

Relationships with authority and fears

Understanding the link between the relationship with authority and social change
Accepting my social fears and anchoring myself in trust

Cross-referencing our systemic awareness

Individual awareness: my individual awarenesses, dealing with guilt
Collective awareness: how do the groups to which I belong react to others?

2/ Questioning collective narratives: limiting beliefs and new futures

Transforming limiting collective beliefs

Understanding the impact of beliefs on a group, a social body
Transforming a limiting collective belief about the future

Creating a new narrative: taking diversity and equity into account

Revisiting a raison d’être in the light of diversity and equity
Experimenting with a projection into the future in the light of diversity and equity

3/ Case studies and drivers of change

Putting systems-focused NVC into practice in my project to unblock a situation, go deeper, open up possibilities, etc. Knowing how to collectively use the ‘toolkit’ (systems-focused NVC card game)

  • posture processes (e.g. empathy and authentic systemic expression, power with, gratitude for a group, ally posture, etc.)
  • theoretical concepts to shed light on the situation e.g. centrism (ethnocentrism, sociocentrism, anthropocentrism), diversity and universality, systemic violence, etc.
  • practical tools (e.g. CODEV-CNV, finding your zone of social influence, group agreements including diversity and equity, etc.)

Practising gratitude in relation to social and ecological change

This course is part of the NVC inner, social and environmental transitions curriculum. It is an in-depth study of systemic approaches that requires skills such as: systemic empathic listening and authentic expression, impact reception + self-positioning on stages of social awareness.

Duration: 5 days
– Monday: welcome 9:00 AM, start 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM
– Tuesday-Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
– Friday: 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Rates:

  • You fund your own participation:
    The workshop relies on a conscious financial contribution (CFC)
