Move away from domination/submission and towards equity/complementarity

Move away from frozen and dual postures and towards interdependent dynamics

Reclaiming the ability to choose

for myself
for my close groups (family, co-workers, institutions)
in my society and my environment

Content

1. Understanding ECO-SOCIO-SYSTEMS

Understand the structures of domination and cooperation.
Understand cultural differences on issues of gender and relationships between living beings (human and non-human – “nature”).
Identify what is alive in my family, my team, my territory.

2. Become aware of my standpoint

Explore my stereotypes, beliefs and habits on these themes.
Observe when I behave according to a dual logic (good/evil, you/me, man/woman, human/nature, etc.).
Understand the advantages and disadvantages of this way of functioning.
Regain freedom of choice.

3. Differentiate duality and complementarity

Understand the different ways of satisfying a need depending on gender, species (human, non-human) and individuals.
Identify tools and resources for restoring equity.
Choose and develop the posture that suits me.

Depending on what is most appropriate for the participants, male/female and human/non-human issues can be dealt with separately during the course (day 1: introduction, days 2 & 3: male/female, days 4 & 5: human/non-human).

Location:
At Gémenos between Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, at the foot of the Sainte Baume mountain, 15 minutes by car from the sea (Cassis or La Ciotat). Non-residential in-person course. You can choose to stay on site at the Hôtel de Provence or in one of the many other accommodations available in the village.
